About Eric

Respectful, Effective Leadership

Eric Barlow is a fourth-generation Wyomingite, raised on his family’s ranch in Campbell County. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, large-animal veterinarian, and rancher, Eric has built a life rooted in service, hard work, and principled leadership.

After serving in the Marines, he earned his veterinary degree, returned to Wyoming, and raised a family with his wife, Kelly. He continued the family ranching operation while staying deeply involved in his community.

Elected to the Wyoming House in 2012, Eric served five terms—including as Speaker—before joining the State Senate. His approach to public service is simple: show up, listen, and get the job done. Whether advancing Wyoming energy independence, rural health access, or water infrastructure, Eric is focused on real solutions for Wyoming families.
